Northern Cascades

Bike was running great, no rain, temp's flirting with the 60's, so I made a little loop up along the Skagit River valley. Then over to the Sauk River, and back down the Snohomish River. Really great twisty roads, and great scenery. Can't wait to ride every bit of it.

On my list of to-do rides this year. It's been over four years since I rode over from the Wenatchee side and camped in the KOA in Concrete. Can't think of the name of the lake on the West side that has all the glacial runoff that looks like it is split in half with color....

August or September would be my choice. Usually some nice dry and warm days then.

9 up to Sedro, S. Skagit Hwy. to Concrete, (twistier than 20), 20 to Rockport, then 530 to Darrington and Arlington.

Nice 3-4 hour loop. I figured Dirk would sense the invasion.
