mike, I remember doing a diarama you know the shoe box with cotton balls in it about that movie, the scene where he goes through the indian cemetary. 72 I was 13 years old what ever grade that is

I remember seeing it at the movie theater back in 72. Epic movie! I disagree with his tactics...if someone is coming at me with a tomahawk, when he crosses the 20 foot mark, he's getting the first of 3 bullets!

I was in college at KSU when that movie came out. I wanted to move to Colorado and be a mountain man back then. I went skiing instead.

Me and Barry Kornreich took a week and went out there. We stayed at Aspen ighlands for 2 days, got in on this deal where you wait tables at the restaurant for 2 ours and get a free pass for the day. That was sweet. We went on to Arapaho Basin, some serious skiing there man. Then we finnished up at veil, ran into some guy we knew from church. He put us up for 2 days in his condo. Great time.
