Avon Venoms

Rode the new skins 2-up yesterday with the new Progressive springs front and rear.

Nice. Not sure I have the rear rate dialed in, seemed a little harsh, but the tires do not follow grooves, and corners seem a lot less directionally tentative than the stock Dunlops.

Like 'em so far....

Glad to hear it du...

You go with the 150 in the back?

I run my Progressives all the way out when riding solo... I'd start there and work up rather than the other way around.

Just popped a new 150 on the back of the Rhino... the old one was almost slick... what a difference a little tread makes....

I've got 10,000 on my rear and need to put the new one sitting in the garage on soon. I love my Venoms

girl... I only got 8k on this last one... got 11k on the one before that...

I did have the trip to CO on them and a lot of miles in over 110º heat and 2up... probably had something to do with it.

girl only for you Mike
Christy rides her own bike most the time. It has done wonders for tire life.
Most of my miles are open road miles too.

Hoss came with a 150 rear.

I started at the top on the rears because...well...I'm bigger than I look, and wife...ah....won't tell me her weight.

Full soft was not happening. I'm gonna take out a half turn of preload.

i haven't heard anything bad about them until a week or so ago...one was a post on one of the forums...another was from a guy at work, that rides a lot in all weather 'cept ice/snow...i remember when he put them on his EG last spring...
we were talking the other day, and he told me he had to take them off after a month or so...ill-handling...!

I've been impressed with my E3's. 11,000 miles on the back tire and still going. That's twice what I've been able to get out of anything else and I've had no problems.
