Best Elite 3 pricing
I've got almost 14K miles on these things and they still look decent. Front looks great...

Anyway, I'm gonna replace the back one prior to riding to the VooookFest and the place I bought the originals has gone out of business. Only paid about $300 for both installed there. The Harley shop wants $170! Anyone know of a cheaper source?

Couple of bucks difference, but remember their is NO shipping costs if you buy two tires from the other place.

Probably gets you to about the same price per tire I am guessing.

yea I'd say its a push, maybe use whichever is closer. prices run just a hair over $10 higher at Southwestmototire, and Americanmototire charged right at $10 to ship my tire to me.

well wait may not even do any good to order from closest, I noticed my last tire I ordered from them was drop shipped from drag specialties so never mind that I guess.

What is the widest tire you can put on the rear of an 07 FLHR (blackwall)? I want to try the Dunlop E3, but I don't see it in a 150mm width. Will this tire work > DUNLOP ELITE3 160/80HB-16 REAR. 160mm? I like the Metz, but I carry too much weight. 8-Bells (edit: 8-ball) uses the Avon, so it this the answer in a 150mm tire?

I think that you have to change the wheel before you can use a 160. There seems to be enough room on my 04.
