this is something i've always been interested in, but never had the knowledge, time or the big thing.....the money. i would love to find a good SLR and a some glass to go with it, but would need a teacher......see what i mean...time and money...lol.....great work guys..

The Nikon D40 is an excellent camera and used go for very little money. The 18-55 lens is $100 or less. I have a D40 and wouldn't trade it. I have a D300 for most of my shooting and the D40 for the 70-300mm zoom.

Check out the D40, D50 or D100. All go used for little money.
