Blood, sweat & tears.

Took the family to camp in Indiana with friends from Angie's work and each of my kids took their turn wiping out riding down this steep hill with a wicked bend at the state park camp grounds...

My son, last to wipe out. Was riding his big wheel with me, his sisters and a couple of friends. As I was following my youngest daughter down the hill I looked to my left and see my son blaze past me down the hill. At this point I know it's gonna be bad cause he has the oh sh!t I'm gonna die face on. Most likely the same expression I was making at the time. So at this point I know he's not gonna make the curve. He wrenches the bars of his big wheel while drag'n his feet going about 15 mph and dumps it right on his head. I speed up to him and lift him up... Road rashed his head and he is coughing up a mouth full of dirt from the side of the road, which makes him then gag and puke on me.., awesome. Here's the damage. Not horrible but had him pretty upset...

Crash #2 - my oldest daughter decided to take her friend's razor scooter down a hill wiped out half way down. The least damaging off the wrecks, just a bloody knee... She mustered no tears, friends were looking...

Crash C: my youngest daughter...who had the most messed up an confusing of the crashes?... And was the first to wreck.

Her and her sister were riding and were going down this same hill my son wiped out on while I was hanging out at the camp site with everyone... Suddenly my oldest races in and says that my youngest daughter crashed. Right after that she comes stumbling in to camp followed by an older couple who were also camping and saw the wreck. This is messed up part... She has a good gash on her knee, elbow and thigh but the back of her head and shirt is covered in blood. Just coated. My wife went over her multiple times and not a scratch on her head or back. No blood from ears or nose. Really messed up? So we patched her up and she was good to.
