Saw one when I was out for a putt the other day. Looks good going down the road but would like to see a little different treatment for the rear fender.

There's a guy I pass on the way to work riding one. Have yet to meet up with him other than that to get a look at it.

I'm told by a friend that has ridden one that it rides just like a Springer Classic...if yer sitting on yer 6" tall lunch box...

i saw one earlier this week at louisville HD....it wasn't the C model...it was the one that looked like it was made of plastic. the sales guy saya that there all pre-sold before they hit the floor. IMHO i don't care for them....as usual i would have done it different, but what do i know....i just work for the gubmint..

I think they're great -- add a bobbed rear fender and brushed aluminum for the pan under the seat (instead of that god-awful plastic shet) and it'd be one awesome bike.

I have not ridden one, but going to look at one tomorrow because I like the basic look so much. I'm with what seems to be the general opinion here, do something with the crap under the seat and then something for 2-up riding, maybe swap the rear fender --- I've been kicking around taking the fender off a deluxe? Just don't know.
I have ridden the B motors and never noticed the counterbalancer whirring, but the bike I rode did have pretty loud pipes. I'd think the 96 engine would have a lot of power, but honestly I haven't ever run across any of the twin cams that could keep up with my old cammed Evo. Like I really need another bike anyway??? I hope when I see it tomorrow I will hate it and that will stop this stupid line of thinking. Of course, I'll be wrong again. |
