No Plates Today!
My bud and me where going to chuck plates on today, as we are already late compared to years past. As we were waiting for insurance to open the sky went dark and the this...... And now the wind is doing 30/40kmh... screw it, I'm gonna drink beer and putz in the shop. Tomorrow is calling for wicked thunderstorms

Ok, let's diagram this:
I have an idea what this means: the sky went dark and then this......(hail)? I got this: "And now the wind is doing 30/40kmh..." (its windy) I certainly understand this: "screw it, I'm gonna drink beer and putz in the shop." (kick back) I got this: "Tomorrow is calling for wicked thunderstorms " {gonna chill out tomorrow)But WHAT fer the love of Pete does THIS: " chuck plates on today"" AND THIS "late compared to years past" And this too... "waiting for insurance to open" mean? wtf?

"chuck plates today" = Obtain new license plates from the DMV and place them on our motorcycles
"late compared to years past" = We've been slacking drinking beer in the garage and ain't got round to it yet "waiting for insurance to open" = need proof of insurance from the agent so we can get plates to chuck Makes sense to me.

Thanks for clearing that up. I have never heard "chuck plates on"...
I do have to renew the registration (license plates) each year but usually by mail. Waiting for insurance to open had me confused as well 'cause we have no insurance decal or plate used but I have to have the card with me. Sunday would be a no-go for my ins office.
