Fairing mounting hardware question...
I don't have a parts manual, so I gotta ask...
On the lower tree, there are sleeves that stick out of the holes where the screws go to attach the light bar. The bracket and the lower mounting hole on the inner fit over this sleeve. Over the left sleeve, there was a washer, but there wasn't one on the right. Is that a shim so everything is straight, or is there supposed to be one on both sides and one is missing? Thanks!

My first inclination is to say some asshat was too lazy to put in the other washer. Then I thought, well hell, just put it back together. If it's crooked, shim it.
SO, in conclusion......... I'm going with asshat. Do you really think the MoCo would check for plumb and reassemble....................?

Thanks, Chris, I'll try that.
Plus, in looking at it, it actually looks like the left side needs it to tighten properly without bottoming, where the right side doesn't.
