OK gurus....
If you are not going to use 'until', but are choosing to truncate to the nonexistent (but logical) phonetic contraction, it would logically extend that the proper construct would be~ 'til. One does not typically add letters to words one is endeavoring to attenuate.
The problem with the troublesome till is that depending on which dictionary or style guide you reference, 'til exists, or doesn't exist, it's a synonym of till AND until. Till is actually a perfectly good free-standing conjunction all on its own (as well as a dandy verb and equally steadfast noun) and would be the most correct to use. But *I* prefer 'til, any damned way.

Since the Harley sending unit is placed in the oil system right after the pump BUT BEFORE the oil filter, higher pressure usually means a restricted oil filter.
Are you using the Harley Super 5?

Back in the day I would have had to check the oil pump, but today I agree that you should change your oil and put a good, new oil filter on and see what happens.

I remember when I put a baisley spring in one of my previous bikes. I was shocked at how high the oil pressure was at idle, similar to the numbers you are seeing. If a new oil filter doesn't fix it, I would definitely check the relief valve to see if that little ball is stuck or obstructed.
As a benefit from your problems, I'll bet your top end is super quiet.

Oddly, no. The valve train is still audibly thrashing away. I am going to go to 10W-40 for the winter and see if that helps. I'm very curious to see what the UOA says.

I forgot you have that 255 cam. I like the performance, but you just can't quiet the valves slamming shut

I just put 10/40 in for the winter. Stick with Amsoil though, and use their filter. You won't be sorry.
