anyone ever think about a concrete countertop

amy and i are always looking for another project for our house. saw one on some HGTV show and as usual they make this stuff look easy. any one here have any experience with doing one or know someone who has...

I have seen them, very cool. Goes well in a modern look motif.

I haven't seen the concrete tops yet. I did see a show where they made tops out of recycled glass, they look realy nice. IMHO

concrete countertops

Recently friends of ours remodled their kitchen, they looked into concrete but ended up going with granite.The samples of concrete they had were gorgeous and unique. I was trying to push them towards using concrete but they weren't sure because they were more familiar with granite. I would go for it!

I've missed the concrete countertops.

We went with granite when we redid our kitchen.
We are still happy with the granite after three years.
