Cape Fear Harley, Fayetteville, NC
I went on PGR ride on Wednesday 200 miles from my house. I had a job at a factory near the PGR ride the next day. So I got a hotel and spent Wednesday night. Got a early start in the factory on Thursday and was done by 12:30, beautiful day. Four hours from home. I'm getting paid to ride, life doesn't get any better.
Doing 80+ down I95 and my back tire went out. Not blown out, but flat. I eased it off the highway. Called AAA and the nearest Harley dealer. All this happened about 2:30, by the time the bike got to the dealer it was 4:15. They were busy, but took my bike right in and had me out by 5:30. Super nice people. Not a bad price either Metzler ME880 out the door for $205.07(tire was 129.71). Same tire I was running. The old one probally had 8K on it and I was due for a new one. Glad you are okay and the tire did not blow out. Love a happy ending to a story like this.
