put this on with my new mikuni ?

as most know I'm gonna put a mikuni on my bike ....

I don't like the stock plastic backing plate nor the breather setup, or the way the stock A/C cover doesn't match up with the backing plate.

So I was thinking that this would work, AND, would look good on the bike .....

what are your thoughts ?
anyone have any experience with this brand, or similar setup ?

They are not the best to deal with. I bought risers from them that do not work on my bike unless I machine a rigid fork bolt myself. There ad said it worked on my bike. When I finally got through to them, the dude was a jacka$$ cause he said all I have to do is have someone make the bolt, he's done it a few times himself and it's no big deal. My point to him was that if he is advertising that it fits H-D Springer, then he should supply the stupid bolt. He kinda eluded that if I posted negative comments he would do the same. He's done it before to others if you read his reviews. I'd stay away and shop elsewhere.

DO NOT under any circumstances deal with deamon cycle. there parts are crap and they are a bitch to deal with (not if) when you have a problem.

Thanks for sharing your experience with these guys.
I'll certainly take that into consideration before I buy.

They do have the best price, for this item. But having an experience like yours isn't really worth saving 20 clams for.

Other than that

what about the PERFORMANCE of said item ?
what about the quality of this BRAND ?

Thanks !

I just put a used mik42 on my FXR, (many thanks to y2kflhr), I used my doherty air cleaner. Love that setup. Mine is a 92, so it's a case breather, no need for power vents. Price is kind of steep, but quality is second to none.
