4 ft wide entry door.
Yep, my shop's got one.
That's how I get my Ultra in there for the winter. I am having NO luck in finding a quality, reasonably priced replacement, though, as mine is on its last legs. Idears on where to find a standard wood or steel entry door in that size? Thanks!

A thought, as is a 4' wide overhead, but at the moment that seems way too pain-in-the-assy if I can find a real door they don't want $1200 for.

Whats available in a double entry ( 2-24" doors ) or possibly a roll-up style door.

And now I got one guy trying to put my costs through the roof with automatic openers and such, another one trying to make it look like something from Tobacco Road with a piece of plywood, and all I want is a reasonably priced, quality 48" entry door. Honest. This building is a 24'x41' 2-story Dutch Colonial with a knotty pine interior, water and septic, not a shed.

The 4' overhead door would be the absolute best, I would imagine. It takes up the least amount of room, and you could install an electric motor on it for an opener....

Sounds like a sheet of plywood would work quite nicely.

There ya go, with mucho dinero saved to add fancy doo-dads, trim and such.
It does take a visionary, though, to realize the potential. I dunno .. might be a stretch.

If you use this door as your Entry Door also (When Just "You" are going in and out), Then you don't want to go with an overhead door. I hate to say it, But with this door being so big, it is going to have to be special order. And Special Order means big $$$$$$$$$$$$. Double French Doors would be your best, and cheapest, bet, I think

French doors don't make me feel safe. And I do appreciate all the alternate suggestions guys, honest, but I want a regular entry door. If it was easy, I'd have found one myself by now.
