George... not sure if that one hurt just a little...

I don't recall any special tools other than the reverse torx sockets... very simple.

12 point sockets. One is 1/4 I forget what the other is. Maybe a 9/16ths or was it a 12mm or maybe 10mm?

Sh!t I forget what the bigger bolt is.

Sorry. But the smaller 12 point is 1/4 inch.

What I can tell you from my experience. 2004 RoadKing Front brakes.
You will 12pt sockets. 10mm for larger bolt and 1/4" for the smaller two bolts. Hard to believe you need metric and SAE to do this job. But you do.

Here is a pretty good link. Typo on the 1/4 12 point socket.

It was mentioned earlier, a 12 point socket, I can't remember the size right now, will be needed on the front. Don't know about that back as I haven't done those yet.

My .02 on this. Get a set of speed bleeders as well. Don't cost much and will make the bleeding step a one man operation.

If you take off the wheel, have some anti-seize compound on hand to coat the axle with when putting it back together.

Oh, brake fluid, don't forget to have some of that on hand as well.

No fluid loss......just pry the old pads to cause the pistons to go all the way in

Stick the new pads in (follow the directions) Different pads go in siffernt spots. Or just pay attention to the tabs.

On my next pad change, I will get the seals and clean off the dust.

Just did mine today and was cake.

Don't get brakekleen on the painted caliper... and if you do, daub it off immediately... don't wipe... had to repaint mine.
