Detachable docking point question

Does anyone know the size of the nylon washers located on the docking points that receive the detachable TourPak rack? My TourPak has gotten a little loose on the mounts and it needs re-snugged.

Harley shop sells the OE washers, and the full set is 40 fricken dollars. I didn't stick around to ask about specs.

Thanks for any help anyone can offer. May just need to ride over to the hardware store and look around.

Are you working tomorrow??

I'm going to try and get a ride in probably after 11 am. Destination yet unknown. Might head south and west other side of C'ville.

Best I've found is to just buy the ones from HD.

I found a guy making aluminum ones over at anther HD forum, they lasted longer, but eventually wore and had to be rotated.

I need to go back and replace them again. Tour packs been off for a few months cause I despise going and paying for them again.

Suppose to - but not sure that I want to! I'd like to do the 80k service on the Ultra and ride.

Been looking at some good solutions for the detachable point wear on those bushings - I'm gonna go the simplest route first, and just rotate the bushings and add a couple layers of black electrical tape to 'em to snug things up.

I can't think of a better solution than the hd ones, its one of the main reasons I got an ultra to permanently mount the tour pack, the rattling drove me "more" nuts

I only normally take mine off for a few weeks in the summer, but dang I hate to give that up and go back to the permanent mount. Rattling is annoying for sure.

I'm going to do the 1k service, then go riding.

You got my number I think.
