"The Gathering" 2019 West "by God" Virginia
Great cabins, clean, beautiful grounds, fish ponds where you can feed the trout and watch them fight over who gets the feed pellets first.
The roads are never ending twisties, everywhere you ride from the base,(cabins). My only personal issue is the four and a half days to ride the 2,641 miles one way to here. But that's just me... Great steak dinner, the wives out did themselves with Mali g the salad, dinner rolls and roasted red potatoes. Thanks to all that thought this "Gathering" up!

I agree.... this has got to be the best gathering I've attended. I'll be here next year for sure!!

Very much agree! Beautiful locale, beautiful lodging, the staff and even the owner super involved in doing everything possible to make us welcome and accommodated, even letting us use the lodge's grill. Mike and Patti did a great job of hosting the group, taking care of all the details, leading rides, cooking, it is awesome.
Great riding roads, here. Plagued with a few construction/repair zones, but it's high season to get these things done, up here, so expected. The roads are in good condition (well except for that *one*) and the curve markings are consistent and reliable. There are some entertaining 'technical' sections, lots of fun. I'm certain tomorrow will bring on more. We've found two amazing restaurants, Cheetah B's is near the cabins and over in Elkins is a great downtown treasure called CJ Maggie's. They are both so good we've gone *back* to both! I'm planning a return to WV already.
