Pit Bull
I broke down and ordered a Pit Bull lift today. I just didn't trust my 12 year old red made-in-china lift anymore. Last time I had the bike up on it it kind of tipped backwards. Pretty scary when 850 lbs starts moving on it's own. I really wanted a table lift, but couldn't spare the room in the garage on a permanent basis. The base on the Sears lift didn't look any wider than the lift I have now. Pit Blls look pretty sturdy and I can roll it out of the way when not using it. If it's as good as I've heard, it should be the last lift I have to buy.
I hope they ship fast because I've got some stuff I need to do.

Smart move, Dan.
Its a heavy lift, but its sturdy as hell. I wouldn't use anything different.

Congrats, Dan! You're gonna love it! It's very heavy and sturdy.
And not only can you roll it out of the way when not in use, but you can stand it up on end so it takes up practically no floor space at all. Did you have to buy an adapter for your bike?

The arms fits perfectly on my Road King with no adapter. One inside the cross member channel and the other outside.

When N00dles had a Pit Bull, he was riding a Kowalski Nomad. It had to have an adapter.

Table lifts are nice, but kinda hard to justify costs, unless you are to old to bend over, but they are getting cheaper. Problem with table lift, is you still need a 2nd lift to get the bike off the ground.
What did the pit pull run with shipping? |
