Fennimore is basically between Madison and Prairie du Chien, WI, in Southwestern Wisconsin.

Did a pre run from here to halfway to Fennimore today. Work is still slow and I had the time.

Scouted some S/SE Wisconsin roads just in case anyone wants to head out from here en route to Cheesapalooza.



I didn't have a map, got lost, found some neat roads anyway. Passed through Beloit, too, which I really had no desire to see, as it was about 20 miles south of where I really wanted to be.....

Found a nice bar and grill named Knute's in the little town of Orfordville, WI., which was the planned destination. Killer cheeseburgers, nice place for lunch, gas station is just down the street.

Got caught in downpours on the way back, tho, between Walworth and Trevor, WI. Stopped in Antioch, IL to avoid lightning.

Rain gear was on my workbench, natch! I think my boots will dry out some time next week.
