There is life after Doof
I am so sad to see this place come to an end. I really hate it. So many friends, so many adventures, and so many memories made. I only go on Fakebook when I can spin up a virtual machine that I can immediately destroy.
For anyone that is Facebook challenged like myself or just interested in maintaining a presence on a forum with like-minded friends I have set up a replacement forum. If interested you can register here: https://www.hogsty.com/forums Right now there is just a bunch of test users and test posts to make sure it worked OK. It will be a work in progress for some time. Hope to see some of you there.

Roy and I kicked off the motorcycle boots a couple of years ago after decades of riding. We never rode Harleys, but I may wander over to your new site just to show support, if that is acceptable. I will really miss the Doof site.

I have an account because it is required for my job at the museum (I maintain the museum FB page). Once I retire the end of May, I'm done with FB, too. Alas, the terms of my publishing contract state I have to keep at least one social media site. Instagram is the suggested site, and it is owned by the same group that owns FB. Sigh. It seems I can run, but I can't hide.
