Bad news
Saw the foot doctor today, went bad. Foot is swollen and looks awful. He said 9-10 months before I can walk on it. The guy wasn’t the easiest to talk to too. Said I should prepare myself, that amputation could be better then chronic pain. None of which I am accepting. Its still early. I have done good recovering, so far.
I will also see another doc, before I cut my foot off. But please send some positive thoughts and prayers.

A buddy of mine had his lower leg shattered in a bike accident and lost his heel in the process. Shortly after he was out of the hospital, his doc said prognosis didnt look good. Well, here we are almost 6 months later and he is starting his rehab, walking on his leg that was once believed to have to be amputated. They were able to reattach his heel, that was the worrysome part.
I think you should be OK. I know its tough after seeing what he went through. We will keep you in our thoughts, man. Swede and Blondie
