Road Tripping……

Not the fun kind on the scooter either….. Corporate CYA policies are starting to fly hot and heavy lately and taking the company truck to Hill Country for the weekend, going hunting, fishing or even tossing the pistol in the console is starting to draw scrutiny, times are a changing.

Being the proactive sort, we flew home threw a massive cookout, bought Autumn a SUV, loaded up my High Country and pointed it South. The truck selection is horrid in Houston at the moment so it was a no brainer, even the SUV pricing was better up North????

The border was a breeze at Midway, when he seen the truck all loaded up he asked me to drop the rear windows, when he seen the bow case, talk went to hunting and he waved us through. I had all my essential worker(energy production) paperwork ready for no need

2,400 miles in 4 semi leisurely days, some interesting stuff, some really boring stuff but fun all in all. No more worrying about flying the corporate brand when we are doing are own thing on the weekends feels good too. This world is heading to crazy places, you can see it daily with the company…..

I did 398 miles round trip last Friday on my scoot to by a knife. Benchmade 2750 ADAMAS Auto in FDE. Well worth the trip.
