I've never had a Cuban, but I'd like to try one.

I pick up a few here and there as I travel through various duty free shops around the world.
I nominally stick with the Cohibas, but Partgas often find a spot in my carry on. They are stupidly expensive though. It has to be a well paying job I'm coming off to let me not cringe too badly at the prices. Nominally they are $30 to $35 a stick. The best prices I have ever seen on them was in Curicao back in the late 90s'. I was picking up boxes for $250. I'm sure that has changed by now.

I'd had a few over the years. Some even have been "forgotten" in my luggage and have made it home. I may have one or two in the humidor to this day.
Montecristo #2 is the shiznitz.

I have only experienced them due to the largesse of good friends.
But, damn, are they good. And I've still got a Montecristo #2 in my humidor, courtesy of the Dutch PX in Kandahar. There could be a few Cohibas in there as well, courtesy of a well traveled friend on the occasion of my birthday/retirement. And some non Cuban Cohibas courtesy of another friend on the same occasion. Thanks, fellers!!! Just another damn Dave Fluent in Pidgin Cigar Spanish

The first Cuban I ever had was harsh! The rest have been great! Love the Cohibas and Montecristos! I have never had a Cuban Partagas .
