It looks that you could easily modify these into a tow hitch.

I think the RK Custom bags are perfect on your softail... deluxe bags look weird to me... I wouldn't change a thing... but then I have extraordinarily good taste...

For me having bags is a functional need, not looks. I got to have them. It's nice to have a change of clothes, jacket, extra chit for the unexpected rain weather etc. Had them on before and missed having them. Another good thing is that the OL can have her "travel kit" and I don't have to worry about where/how I'm going to carry her stuff.

Thought about the bubble bags like ET, but $$$ again. I got the bags that I have for $200. I also like this look. Noticed it in the middle of doing these brackets when we were riding with Doug. Damn-it.

I like it too. No offense to anyone with those Deluxe bags, but as small as they are, you might as well not have any bags at all.

Took a break from my install. Should have pix tonight. Fairly simple. Gotta do some soldering on the turn signals, get some long torx bits and hex bits, then I can button everything up.....

Just add a windshield and some passenger floor boards and most people will never know the difference.

Looks good.

With what? I don't want holes there in the mean time. What did you put there?

it is the cyclevisions brackets. My sissy bar is still detachable, I just have to spread it to get it to work. Also had to get the dremel out to trim the rear of the sissy bar plate so that it would clear the lights.

Thanks for all the compliments. At first I didn't know if I would like it (a couple months ago) now I wonder why I hadn't done it sooner.
