You may already own a more-than-adequate video editor.

It's called Windows Movie Maker.

I use it exclusively when editing the vids I shoot with my GoPro Hero HD camera.

Go to youtube and search 'mrorbit43'. That's my video channel. All those vids, save one, were edited with WMM.

Highway 211 from Sperryville going over the top of the pass at Skyline Drive.
One of my favorite roads in the area. Too bad the video doesn't do the elevation change justice as we climb over the pass.
