I get the sense we won't have to look at it for very long. It should die quickly.

I had a chance to see (and sit on) one this summer. I was going to test ride it. My first impression was that it looks better in person than in photos. It sits way cool. I went to get on and caught my foot on the the beetle shell seat thing on the back (too high). Some day I'll test ride one. It's certainly no worse than a BMW. I like it.

Looks like they took style cues from the Boeing entry into the JSF competition.

I like older Beemers. The new ones not so much.

Overall it is a cool idea... they just got lost somewhere in the contemporary styling and lost sight of the purpose of the thing...

My impression is that it looks far better in photos than it does in person. It is friggin' huge in person. The saddlebags carrying capacity is miniscule when it looks like it should be huge. The rear fender/taillight/saddlebags extend way too far to the rear and the worst thing is the front view... that fairing looks 10 feet wide and ridiculous as hell.

I was hoping this thing would be cool... but man, it is a monstrosity... did I mention huge... like a tank huge... form followed form on this one... not function...

It has Arlen Ness written all over it. I like the idea of new stuff and not just doing the same old thing over and over in terms of styling but this is just way over the top for me. I have a friend who has a Road King and a Gold Wing and he is all excited about getting one of these things too. It would be a boring world if everyone liked the same thing but I would have a hard time getting excited about buying one of these Visions.

Personally, I like it.

Gary the terrible offered to bring me along on the test ride he went on, but I had previous plans.

...remember how much crap H-D got when the V-Rod came out?
