Anyone ever fix plastic supports on a fairing?

One of the posts that attaches the outer fairing to the inner is broken. Tried gorilla glue, no dice.
Any ideas? I ordered something called plastex from a company in Canada and will try it next week.

Happy to hear other thoughts

I've heard that Billy Mays might have something that'll work.

That stuff actually has to be welded. Eastwood and other companies that specialize in auto body repair materials usually have the equipment. It could maybe be successfully solvent welded too, but I have no practical experience in either method for something like this.

If I were fixing your bike I would use JB Weld. If I were fixing my bike I would take it to a professional. The pro would be involved eventually, so I'll just be skipping all the intermediate steps.
