UnChained Heritage fluid change (help)~
OK,
Oil & Filter was easy, new o-ring on plug..
Trany oil full when bike is upright (off kickstand)..
Primary oil looks green but is touching both ends of the chain when on kick stand and i reused the gasket...

~QUESTION~ sound like i did it right? (we aint got no manual on this bike)

3 or 3.5 quarts for the crankcase.

26 oz in the primary.

24 oz in the transmission.

I believe fluids should be checked at operating temp on the kick stand (not upright). Atleast that's how the FLHTC manual reads.

Do be careful not to overfill. Better to add a little after a quick test ride to get to operating temp then to deal with draining some off.

On a softail it is checked upright.
