I have that, or a 260 ........

nice unit ..... doesn't have a mount for the handlebars, and isn't waterproof .....

If it isn't waterproof, its not so useful for a bike.

Found a good deal on the 2610 (was within my budget,, Zuni was not)and it works great.. might be a little bit heavier than the newer stuff but seems well built and is one of the few that is H2O proof..
But I do need to find out how those of you who have one of these has it mounted to the handle bars.. and where you can get the mount...

Thanx

here

but I've seen some resellers with better price for their stuff ... not by much though. If you want you can get the model number from Ram's sight and google it to find a reseller with a better price.

Hey Mike where did you get your 2610 from and what are you going to use for mounts?

I've got the Zumo 550 and just love it. You can tell it how many miles per tank you get, punch it in and it will alert you when your low, put a gas pump icon on your screen, you touch it and all the closest gas stations come up. It comes with 2 mount types, one for bike, one for car. It knows which one it's plugged into so the gas icon doesn't pop up when mounted in your car telling you your bikes out of gas. It has bluetooth so you can hear the commands while riding if you choose. The bluetooth can also be connected to your cell phone. I use this feature while in my car because the cars mount has a speakerphone. when my phone rings, the number pops up on the Zumo, I press answer on the Zumo and voallla, I'm hands free. This model is way cooooool!!!!

Nice job BigMike! Used a quick connect when I put mine on too except I tucked it up behind the nacelle. Have to fish the cable through the handle bar cover, but it's not difficult. Used a Techmount handlebar mount.

I ran the power cable back under my seat and spliced into the accessory plug. Not...sure...why...I did that. Ah, well. Easy enough to splice to a hot lead if I ever want to use the switch for something else.

It's great to do business with the small guy but his Zumo 550 is more than $200 higher than it can be bought elsewhere and accessories are way higher than several other vendors too...I'm talking businesses that are American too with full manufacturer warranties...
