All this fussin', wouldnt it just be easier to Doof it up and Duct tape it to the Tank? Or better yet, I can send ya some 3-1/2" Drywall screws and ya can can screw it right to the center console or tanks. What? Tanks. huh? Tanks, um yer welcome.

couple a weeks ago I did just that, I forgot the mounts and was leaving from work, I duct taped the thing to the handlebars!!! done

I didn't even tell ya the part about coming home--I stole a roll of electrical tape from work cause we use alot of that (bright yellow), and we only had a little duct tape, this thing was wrapped up in bright yellow electrical tape, quite a site I must say!!!!

yeah it wasn't easy though, I couldn't see the damn screen so well so I did doof loops around the development till I turned it off and used my nogin!!

Just put it close enough to the switch housing that the wires will be long enough. It doesn't take that long to take off the old mount and put the new one on.

I'm thinking about getting one of those new Zumo 550's to replace my Quest. Do any of you have pictures showing them mounted on your bike? I found one locally that I am thinking about buying but might order the MoCo mount if it is better/more secure than the one that comes with the unit.

I love my 550 and the MoCo mount is the only way to go.
I tried both ways and the MoCo is the best.
Only photo I have right now.
But, trust me.
