Considering switching from Comcast to AT&T U-verse...

AT&T U-verse provides personalized support to the forum and Comcast does not

Here's my $0.02, U-verse is going to give you higher Internet speeds and more channels for less money. The trade-off will be that the HD bit-rate is slightly lower than that of most cable providers and while that is not an issue for a lot of people, some videophiles don't like that. However, for standard definition channels most cable providers really squeeze the bit-rate of their analog channels to make more room for HD channels and Internet bandwidth. U-verse doesn't compress analog SD channels at all so the picture is much better.

Net-net, there are a few trade offs but you will probably have more channels, faster Internet and a lower bill by switching from cable. We are also offering around $200 in cash rebates to help sweeten the deal.
