I've been hankering to have some calf's liver and onions.

Just have to find a butcher that sells it fresh.

KFC used to have gizzards or chicken livers and some of the gravy on them...

Liver, corn chowder( might as well eat fog) and Brussel sprouts are not on my grocery list. Pretty much anything else is.

Liver & onions with fried taters and cream gravy were supper every Wednesday night from the time I could remember until I left home.

Used to squirrel hunt with a .22 cal. and was under instruction of no head shots. Save the brains for eggs & brains for breakfast.

Yep, the good ol' days.

I used to think the same thing of Brussel Sprouts. Then I learned about roasting them in the oven, or slicing them in half and placing the cut side down in a fry pan with just enough oil so they don't stick. Drizzle them with some EVOO infused with herbs, then sprinkle a little rice wine vinegar on top before serving.. Awesome..

I also had some at the Brewery Warren is building for his boss. They are similar, but then they add a little soft cheese on top and stir it through. They are pretty damn good too.
