FRIKKEN CAMS.....
Put a bore scope down the spark plug holes to see I've got poptop pistons, a little carbon and a nice crosshatch left on the cyl. walls, except for a little vertical scratching on the thrust side of the back cyl. So my thoughts on cam choices are out the window, 204's are over 200ccp range as are most of the tourqe cam selections I tried. I thought I could avoid yanking the heads this year and save enough to do the whole 103" thing next winter...
Any thoughts on a cam for a 2up touring rig that see's a lot of mountain roads with no comp. releases and 10.25 pistons???? I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and yank the top end Goes to show, don't know what ur getting into buying a dead guy's bike. Cheers, Dirk |
