Where to buy and NOT buy Wrangler jeans

I just ordered a new pair of Wrangler Jet jeans with the no-gap waist that actually fits a waist that devoted too many years to childbearing. Got 'em at a local western store. Finding jeans that are short enough in the rise and long enough in the legs is a real challenge.

I am really trying to buy Made in USA stuff...

I'm made in the USA, but I'm not for sale...

Speaking of.... It gives Boop no small amount of joy on those rare occasions when I plop down into a chair and a seam catches me right on a nut and I get a look on my face like I've just had my spleen removed without anesthesia using Russ' tin snips.

I like those, too. Almost bought a pair yesterday and decided to let the store order me a pair of Jets from another store instead. The waist fits better and I like the vent on the bottom of the side seam. I checked and they are 11.8 oz denim.

This pair of jeans is four sizes smaller than the last pair I bought.

Picked up a pair yesterday at TSC. Nice to finally get a heavy jean that's not too stiff and has nice long legs. They sit higher than Levi's 505s, and don't have quite the vanity sizing that Levi's has, so they're a good reminder to get on the elliptical.

I find that the Arizona brand from JC Penney to be a good fitting, sturdy and long lasting jean. I also appreciate that they sit at the natural waist and not below the waist as many of the manufacturers are doing now. I used to wear the Wrangler 5 star but have found them to be lacking in fit and quality in the past several years. The Arizona brand is more what the Wrangler used to be.
