PDA viewing mode
Is there any way that the forum, specifically the new posts feature, can be formatted and offered for those with PDAs? one example site that I view is http://www.fark.com their site is http://www.fark.com/pda.html
It is sized correctly for the smaller screen and not loaded with extra content. Just curious, I have a new (to me) toy that has IE built in. I found this on the net, I dunno if it would help Matt

Is your phone 3G or WiFi enabled? If you are using the PDA version of IE with a broadband phone, the site loads pretty quickly if you go into options and disable avatars, signatures and images.
Opera and Safari are both excellent browser choices, Safari is the browser that Apple uses on the iPhone but they have a version for Windows WM5/6 in beta right now. Opera is available now but is a little on the pricey side so I have just stayed with IE. |
