Billy, it really couldn't be much easier. Just touch the iron to the existing solder, pull the old wires off, then do the same to get the new wires set, then get a little solder on the iron to get a bit more to cover the wire. The hardest part was stripping those tiny wires without cutting them.

I have done my share of soldering over the years but don't even know where my iron is these days. It's been a long time and I'd rather defer to someone that has one under their belt

^ THIS !!! if you've ever done any wire soldering you'll know how easy it is by tinnning the wire first ... conduts heat !! then just place the wire on the solder ball on the speaker, place the flat side of the iron on the wire, press down, when the ball melts remove iron, blow on it, takes less then 2 seconds for it to set, this is a very small job ......

my helmet is done ! the difference is HUGE !!! like Ricky said, they have BASS ..... also the seperations is far better than the SENA speakers .....


Jan's helmet is ALMOST done, just gotta solder the speakers on and put the helment together.... WHOOOOT

oh yeah, and have a wet rag at hand to wipe the iron off .. keep the iron clean

Looks like I'll be wearing my half helmet with no Sena...my Nolan squeezes my right ear against the bows of my glasses...after 20 miles my ear hurt so Damn bad I could hardly stand it...shit!

I'd take a cutter to it and make a channel for the ear piece to run in, take the pressure off of it ... or a BFH and flatten out the foam in that area

Let me know which one you do, and how it works ... Best of Luck with it ..... I know you can fix it, yur smart n chit

Less than ideal placement for the speaker cutouts in the Neotech. I'll end up velcroing the speakers to the fabric.
