Tawanda is in the shop for her 55k service. . .she will be getting new cam chain tensioners and while Troy has her apart he'll be checking her cams to make sure there is no wear. . . I'm a nervous mama right now. . .

Honestly y'all, I don't know a lot about the mechanics of my bike. Early on I found a great mechanic and I trust him to take care of her. So far he hasn't let me down. Troy gives me a break on parts and/or labor when he can. He doesn't suggest a lot of crap that she doesn't need. He stresses preventative maintenance and keeps her running right. Perhaps more important, he puts up with my dramatics when she's ailing. . .

He is absolutely the best! Which is why I trailer her and/or rider her 700 miles round trip to have him take care of her.

You're right they are overdue. Troy said they should have been looked at around 10k ago. Until I got the trailer I had issues with leaving her because I needed her to get back home. Left her with him a week this time. . . it was a difficult time for me, but we both survived.

tonya, I believe I still have the stock cams from my rk, they were in good shape when I pulled them, if ya need them, I can get them out on monday if I can find the box.
