Checking in to say hi, seems things are the same around here. I'm enjoying the new ride, tearing up the miles and loving every minute of the new experience. Took some getting use to being so light and powerful but now we are welded at the hip. I have gotten well acquainted with SW Motech and Twisted Throttle. Bike is all outfitted and farkled just the way I want it. One can get use to this gas and go thing.

The Alaska trip has been postponed until June 2015, health issues for both the wife and I prevent any long term separation. These should be resolved in a few months and all will be back to normal.

Maybe I'll see one of ya on the road one day, y'all ride safe and keep the rubber side down, I will drop by from time to time and make sure you nuts haven't burnt the place down.

Sorry about the pics, I dont have many good ones, apparently black bikes are a PITA to photo. The photos never seem to be an accurate representation of what I see through my own eyes.

I just wrapped up the 2nd service on it, all broke in. I beat the dog snot out of this thing and it just loves me more for it. About 60 mpg, bulletproof engine, massive carrying capacity, handles like its on rails, fast and torquey and most important, its light and easy for me to throw around. I sat on a new Ultra last week and could hardly get it off the kickstand. I think my big heavy bike days are done. The wife dont ride any more and I have no energy left to fight a heavyweight. This is just perfect if I can figure out how to keep the front wheel down.

I know, I know, its a Jap bike, but I dont care, It is a blast to ride and the plastic cleans easily. Its cheap, dont eat much, is easy to service and lets me beat the tar out of it without so much as a single complaint. Sometimes being able to ride is more important than what you ride, thats where Im at and all is good. Enjoy the pics.
