*(a technical mention: I posted this or similar, hours ago and yet, it's gone. If this seems to be a duplicate to another entry that I can't see, I apologize.)*
The City speaker will remain nameless at this point. Primarily because it looks llike all is in order and I have at least verbal permit approval of each department. The actual permit will be handed over either Friday or Monday. i went there Wednesday and spoke directly to the 'bottleneck' herself. i provided more docs, answered her questions and then *explained to her AGAIN* what constitutes the foundation structure of a Post Frame building and that No, ma'am, there is no engineering drawing for the slab.... because (again) there IS NO slab. Note that the slabless build is being done solely to 1. get past her tunnel-vision and 2. obtain a rapid permit sign-off and then, as soon as the city signs off on the permit completion... then step outta the way 'cuz here come the concrete!

Thursday, taking a day off in order to make a start and to get the inspector to bless the holes in the ground. Then they'll leave me alone (they say) until the completion inspection.
I'll probably have to work Friday. I'm hoping to make real headway this week. The timbers are here, the framing lumber, the Sakrete. Trusses are due Friday, the metal next Wednesday. This thing might actually exist, someday!
