Been using this one for fence clearing. Gerber Gator Machete Had to sharpen it twice so far, but it has good weight and length and has been put through the wringer. $25 at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine. When I wear this one out I'm getting another. I've chopped everything from briars (thousands) to grapevines and even fell some small trees with it when I was too lazy to walk back and get the chainsaw.
