Dead Mustang
The mustang 1 pc touring seat has had it after only 50 k. Feels like I'm sitting on the battery. Not many choices out there for bagger seats that are functional and look good at the same time. Still want to keep my backrest. Anybody got recommendations? So far no luck searching for a replacement that fits the long haul requirements.

Contact a custom seat place and get them to fix the one that you already have. Maybe put in a gel pad etc.

Mustang can refoam them. Maybe you should have thought abnout this last fall. Ha.
My Mustang two piece went bad about 20k. That was disapointing. I got about 30k, and I am starting to wonder a little about my one piece. Not ready to make an accusation yet.

I had these guyz redo my BADLANDER, which is not much than a board, and there was "some" improvment.
Spence even told there wasn't much to do with a BADLANDER.
I understand that with a better seat, there is much improvement.

The best seat I have owned was a Harley Sundowner that was on my RoadKing. I was going to replace the stock seat on my '08 Glide, but it is nice enough, I will wait until it wears out. If you get a Corbin, I understand you can specify how hard or soft you want it. Yosamite had one on his dyna that was cast iron covered with leather.

Thanks yall, think I may go to the HD Charlotte and see what they have, HD seats are much cheaper than mustang and if need be can change it yearly. If that fails may send mine back to Mustang for gel foam and a recover.

I have a sundownder on my dresser, and it's the best. I've had Mustangs in the past, I think the older ones were better than what there today. I've heard good things about Saddlemen seats, but they're big bucks. I've had Corbin, in my opinion, they're just so-so.
