The Quest

Well, we went, we saw, we, well, there's no conquering that place.
Geeze said he got plenty of pics, so I'll let him show what he can of the place. I'll just fire off one, to wet the appetite: This is the "isle" I was in, looking for a shift lever. There were a couple of boxes of them on the floor, with about 100 per box. Plus some on the shelves, and some more scattered around. Probably about 5-600 used shift levers:  This, mind you, is on the first floor of the front building, which has 3 floors. There's over 10 acres of this going on in buildings throughout the property, with each building packed solid with bike parts. Alright, maybe one more. This is the "isle" you have to walk down to get to the "isle" I was in:  I'm sure Geeze has some better shots. And shots of the museum too. He'll post them as soon as he's done gargling with mouthwash to clear out the smell of that liverwurst and onion sandwich he had for lunch. I'm sure the little lady at home had to love him for ordering that.

OK campers, here goes.
Just what kind of front end tickles your fancy? Pipes? You want pipes?? Handle bars? You want handle bars?? Fender racks? Seat? From old AMF to brand new, you'll find it in this pile. While D and I were there, some guy had a slightly used LePera seat, he wanted to tear the leather off and recover it in a different color. Nick asked him what he did for a living, he could afford to ruin a $200.00 seat! This is just one of hundred and hundreds of isles of ...... stuff.

Darrell looking for his shift lever........ HEY, over there! No, THERE! On your left you Doof.......... NO!! YOUR OTHER LEFT................. <sheesh> How about a 4 speed kicker, just sitting on a bench.... Want some head...........  A fully restored Servi Car in the upstairs museum... A 100% ORIGINAL (but restored) Indian, I think this one is a 1916. He has a 1910 there, thought I took a pic of that too , but guess not.... Panheads, Flatheads, Knuckleheads, old school '60's choppers, yep! They're all here!

And lastly.................
I DID!! I DID!!! I DID TAKE IT'S PICTURE!! Below is a 1910 Indian. Oh, guess what? Each and EVERY ONE of these bikes in the museum run. Nick takes a few of them out every year. Rides them around South Jersey, usually just for special events. It's not unusual to see him on a local poker run on a flatty or a knuck. A room full of primary covers. And like D says, there's 10 ACRES of buildings FILLED with row after row after row of ........... stuff. The funny thing is, Nick knows where EVERYTHING is. Seriously. I think he's part horder and part savant. You want a whatchamahooly for a 1968 shovel? He'll tell you which building to go to, which isle to walk down and which bin to stick your paw in. And it's THERE!!!! Man's scary that way. Sharp as a tac. If you were to pass him on the street, you'd be tempted to stick a 5 spot in his shirt pocket so he could get some food. Man's a quadzillionare. Rumor has it that he has at least 3 times the restored and original bikes at his house then he has in the museum. You just gotta see this place.
