Tire pressure

Last year I replaced the dunlop h.d tires on my flhtcui with metzeler 880's got rid of the rain groove tracking somewhat but the bike just dosent seem to be as stable metz recomends running 38 psi front and 44 rear the dunlops are suppose to be at 36 and 36 or 2 up 36 and 40 is that enough psi for the metz can't wait till they wear out Ive tried running them at max pressure and it got worse

I hated the 880s, as you recall, but if you don't run those high pressures, they'll go to hell in a hurry on you.

That's essentially the same pressures for front and rear ME880 140/18's on an FLH. I'm currently running the ME880 150/18 on the rear which is 44psi max. Comfortable nice cornering tire, but I won't go two up on it. It is okay for solo loaded down, though.

Exclamation

I should state I don't have Radials.

On an Electra Glide Std. with Avon Venom (not the Venom R):

Front: Size MT90B16 74H (also WW) (38psi)

Rear: Size 140/90B16 77H (also WW) (44psi)

Agreed, Metz's load rating is too low in the 150... This is why I switched to the Avon...
