I'm currently have a "dialog" on FB with some greenie about, if you can ride one 500 - 700 miles in a twelve hour ride in one day.
He keeps coming up with apps that locate charging stations for electric cars or use the HD GPS feature to find them...

Does it come with a 50-mile extension cord?
Maybe a 100-miler for real bikers.

Charger is built to mount in the motor home or the trailer.

There's a dude following George A. Wyman's 1903 San Francisco to New York City route on a Zero DSR.
The story is in Roadrunner magazine, but you gotta have a subscription to read it. If I recall correctly, the Zero has a range of 100-ish miles, so the rider has to find places to stop and charge the bike. He's used RV camps, gas stations, restaurants, anyplace he can find with an outdoor electric outlet.

I read on their site it has a "In City" cruising range of 230 miles.
Maybe at highway speeds it might drop to 100 -200 miles. It would be one of those riding adventures to do if you had the time to do it in, stopping every 100 or so miles to top it off and continue until making a stop for the evening. Here's some charging info from their site... http://www.zeromotorcycles.com/charging/ .

You can get that great Harley sound by using a clothes pin to clip a playing card where it will hit the spokes in the wheel.

At the moment, the engineers are trying to figure out how to replace the rear wheel with an extension cord spool.
