I doubt that they are ... but one might have a rib on it, or not. If one of them has a rib on it, solder it to the same terminal on the other speaker. This will be the best that you'll get in keeping your speakers in sync.
It's DC voltage to the speaker, so + - don't matter

Yes, but it's no big deal, not enough juice there to 1)shock you 2)nothing inside your helmet to conduct electricity

My guess, to help hold it in the speaker pocket .... self stick one side to the insideo of the pocket the other to the base of the speaker, press together to hold in place.
Since I have to enlarge the pockets in my Nolan, I will just ensure that the the speakers are tight press fit to stay in place.

Sometimes the + wire will have ribs or a colored stripe on the insulation.

OK, Kids, Let's review:


Looking at the Koss speakers, on the right is the (+) positive wire and the post it is soldered to actually has a little red mark by it.

The wires in the SENA cable are actually RED and WHITE so hook up the RED to the Positive (red marked post) speaker terminal.



The Velcro is used (in my helmet at least) to hold the speaker in place.
My helmet happens to have some cloth in the speaker cup that the Velcro likes to stick to, so I used self-stick Velcro to stick to the back of the speaker. Since the Koss speaker is shaped in an unfriendly way on the back side, I trimmed some of the speaker's plastic away to clear the way to mount the Velcro.

This way, the Velcro is glued to the speaker and it sticks to the cloth in the speaker hole.

To be frank, I'm not 100% certain whether the cloth in there was a Shoei thing or if I previously added it.

My helmet's done. Took about an hour and that included taking the Sena off of Katie's helmet and installing the whole thing into the Neotech (damn you Ricky!). I also scraped the "Shoei" logo off the helmet.

I tried the Velcro thing, but there's just not enough room behind the spacer piece for the speakers and the velcro. I might try some double-sided tape.

At any rate, they sound good. The fit's snug, but I hope that'll break in a bit.

Nope, I just don't need to advertise for them.

I'm thinking of doing the same to Dana's, but leaving just the "HO".
