Frikkin' grease gun....

Why the hell doesn't Husky use a standard thread nipple for the quick disconnect thread... bastards...

Now I've got to run back there AGAIN...!!!!

I dick around with a grease gun until it works somehow... but then forget what I did... then months go buy and I have to figure it out all over again...

No instructions in the box... asshats...

What the hell is the procedure for these damned things..... PLUNGER all the way into the cannister or all the way out when you hit the trigger...????

cant help you with yer nipples..sorry.

on my 1970's vintage grease gun, I pull the plunger all the way back and lock it, I think this is accomplished by rotating quarter turn. Unscrew cap and remove old grease cartridge.

insert new cartridge

remove new cartridge and insert correct way

replace cap and release plunger, this is where memory is fuzzy cuz I use mine about once a year too, and only replace the cartridge when the grease turns to varnish....
while the plunger still has pressure on the grease, pump the handle (point the hose away from yourself) until grease erupts from the fitting.

turn handle 1/4 turn so that plunger rod can be pushed all the way in. Grease should stay primed...maybe

Good Luck

hose is the same fitting, but the air is some bastard thread.... I'm sure home depot has the air fitting... why the hell don't they just include the frikkin' fitting...

Okay, I removed the cannister, pulled the plunger all the way out, took the end off the grease cartridge, slid it into the cannister, removed the pull tab on the other end of the cartridge and screwed the cannister back into the head. I then pushed on the plunger release and pushed the plunger all the way back into the cannister.

brake bleeder caps are all cracked... where the hell do I find those... speed bleeders.... I ain't ordering caps and paying $12 shipping...

neck bearings... I've got a tray full of grease in the trees... I think it was the 117º desert on the way to and from CO last year...

I use the BelRay waterproof... never have a problem, but I think that heat was just too much for it...
