Secondhand Lions Duvall, Caine
This is a keeper. Its also a 'sleeper' that (I guess) went straight to DVD without much press. Rural 1960's setting for a family-viewing tale about two grumpy old codgers who are brothers living in a most decrepit farmhouse. They get stuck with a young great nephew who is unceremoniously dumped there. The old geezers have a mysterious past and notorious dislike of salesmen. The old men sit on the porch with shotguns. Salesmen are always fired upon.
Eventually, there are lions involved. Eventually there is peace. Its a good feel-good family flick that has some unexpected moments. BTW, ts not a chick flick, there's not a female character "love interest" in the movie. Robert Duvall, Michael Caine you can't go wrong with these guys.

Its a great movie.And the kid didnt see any dead people in this one

Yep, Patti and I both liked that one.. Duvall and Cane are fantastic.
I liked especially liked the part where Duvall gives the young thugs a little lesson.
