There a spread out a bit East of Kingman I was looking at to buy, had about 4 structures on the property ranging from one bedroom size to the big house with two beds. And A/C...
Had to trailer in your water for that place.
Parents had some property around Dolan Springs and they had water rights at the area water hole you could haul water to the property from.

Flagstaff and Kingman have higher elevation. A little cooler weather.

Yes Flagstaff is very nice. Out of my range at the time. I was looking at prices around Wickenburg, and boy are they high.
