Never shot the reds. In our last house in UK I used to shoot the greys 'cos they predate the songbird nests. Got four and the garden hose then they stopped coming.

Don't know if it was the psychopathic hose murder that sceered 'em off

Around here feral cats are the big menace. A friend took one with a .450 Rigby - he was carrying a double rifle for boar. Walked over, but all he found was the ears .

We run 8 feeders. Scuddy doesn't like the sunflower seed, but occasionally takes a fatball or the peanuts. Not enough to worry about.

Never had a feeder before. The house came with one, and I just got into it. I don't mind the squirels, but they get to be to much.

Bird feeders kept me sane after my arrest in '94. I had the same setup as you. Coolest thing we had was Pileated Woodpeckers on a regular basis. They'd even bring their young to the suet feeder in the spring. The young ones looked like punk rockers w/ red Mohawks.

maybe later i'll go out & sit on the deck & shoot a bunch of critters...

need a tail for the other antenna. Maybe a gray squirel. But the reds drove em out.

Might I suggest attaching them to a set of chaps...you could probably sell them to a certain someone when you cover them up with all the tails.
