A problem with one of the Brits. Seems he doesn't want anyone to get to the feeder.

Squirel hunting has gone the way of the buffallo. Haven't seen one in awhile.
Soon just be romantic stories, off times past and the great squirel hunting era of our country. Back when a man could shoot two a day. Been over a month since I seen one of big beasts. I have had to resort to chipmunk hunting. Smaller tails. Actually somehas been tunneling in my barn flower and under the wall. Time to thin that herd too. |

Need to work on my short game.
Missed 2 chipmunks and a squirel at close range, out of the kitchen window. Thought I did atleast. Just shot at one. Went to see if I hit it. Found a dead one. Stunk. |

me and my "little buddy" bagged one of the vermin today... had to be sneaky and ease the window up... popped him with the .22 from about 30 yards...
I letter "Pepper" go in the woods and retrieve him for me... he loves chasing those tree rats... feisty little fella, considering he is French Bichon/Poodle mix... 15 pounds of fury jumped on a Pitbull one time thank god the Pit had a sense of humor...

I seem to be better at long shots. The one yesterday, I though for sure I had him in my sites. I most have had him. But not a confirmed kill.
The chipmunks seem to be more sensitive to me opening the window. I got the screens already up. Need spray some silicone lube or something in the track. |

I dreamed of a squirel last night.
Was at my Grandparents, my grandpa puts my Grandmas old cookies one the deck for the squirels to eat. There is one the size of small dog. I dat at the kitchen table looking at that fat bastrd. With a tail as long as my... He was mocking me, as his belly dragged on the ground. It would have been close, but I think I could have taken it in a fair fight. five years ago for sure. Three probably. |

They keep retunnelling in the barn. I got a hard packed gravel, and the chipmunks, I suspect I undermining. Tunnel rats.
I keep crushing the entrance, but they got all day to open it back up. Need a job, welfare rats. What pisses me off, if they went a few feet over they could just walk in. I pissed around the hole tonight see what they think of that. If they open it again I will piss right down it. I have told the OL. She migh be critical of my behavior. Its in the corner. |
